Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Tropical Storm Warning “?
An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) starts clearing out some of the clouds and rain over Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show a complex frontal moving through Oregon between Friday night and Saturday. The graphics for days 3-7 Sunday through Thursday show the parade of frontal activity through the period.
Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays), Hoodoo (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and Mt. Ashland (closed Tuesday and Wednesday) are all open for the ski season. Check their Web sites for specific mountain conditions and hours of operation.
