Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is  “Yellow Snow “? (No it’s not that!) Here is the correct answer. Yellow Snow: Snow given a golden or yellow appearance by the presence in it of pine, cypress pollen, or anthropogenic material or animal-produced material.

The Jet Stream is sending an Atmospheric River full of moisture from over the Pacific Ocean right into the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system moving through Oregon today. The graphics for days 3-7   Tuesday through Saturday show the parade of frontal activity continuing Wednesday through Friday.

Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, and  Mt. Ashland are all open for the ski season. Check their Web sites for specific mountain conditions and hours of operation.
