An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) is sending an even colder airflow from the north over the Pacific Northwest keeping us dry with fog and colder than normal for the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems in or approaching the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7    Thursday through Monday show a cold front pushing through Thursday night and early Friday, then a stationary front plants itself just inland of the West Coast.
