That persistent Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) continues sending cold air from the north over the Pacific Northwest keeping us colder than normal. The graphics for days 1-3 show a weak cold front moving in from the northwest today. The graphics for days 3-7 Sunday through Thursday show a stationary front that plants itself just inland of the West Coast. A frontal system will be to our West-North West over the ocean next Thursday.
