That persistent  Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) continues sending cold air from the north over the Pacific Northwest keeping us colder than normal. The graphics for days 1-3 show a stationary sitting just inland of the West Coast. The graphics for days 3-7    Tuesday through S aturday show a stationary front that plants itself just inland of the West Coast. A frontal system will push into Oregon next Friday.
