A Blocking Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) continues sending cold air from the north over the Pacific Northwest keeping us colder than normal. The graphics for days 1-3 show a stationary sitting just inland of the West Coast. The graphics for days 3-7 Thursday through Monday show a cold frontal system pushing into Oregon next Friday and Saturday. A stationary front will be to our Northwest and a complex frontal system will be closing in on the Oregon coast next Monday.
