An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) is approaching the coast along with an approaching surface low is sending more rain into the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show the frontal system that moved through Oregon, bringing rain and a little snow. The graphics for days 3-7 Saturday through Wednesday show the frontal systems that will be heading our way through the period.
