An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) is moving toward the Pacific Northwest as the Upper Level Low Pressure leaves.The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems moving into or over Oregon through the period. The graphics for days 3-7 Wednesday through Sunday show surface high pressure through Wednesday, then a complex frontal system slides in Thursday. A complex frontal system will be pushing to the coast Saturday and next Sunday.
Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass Ski announced it is open now for early season skiing 7- days a week. Hoodoo is open 9am til 4pm, and Mt. Ashland is open. Check their Web sites for specific mountain conditions and hours of operation.
