Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. “What are “Sastrugi?”

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) takes over for warming, but not for long. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system moving through Oregon Wednesday with another right behind it. The graphics for days 3-7 Friday through Tuesday show no frontal systems pushing through the Pacific Northwest until a complex frontal system will be moving through Oregon between Saturday and next Sunday. Yet another front headed our way next Tuesday.
