An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is controlling our weather for the near future. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the complex frontal system moving through the Pacific Northwest bringing more rain. Upper level HighPressure and surface high pressure combine to bring sunshine and dry us out. The graphic for days 3-7 shows that high pressure taking over for the weekend into the middle of next week keeping us dry for a while.  The next frontal system to attempt to bring us rain will arrive between next Wednesday and Thursday. An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is controlling our weather for the near future. An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is controlling our weather for the near future. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the complex frontal systems set up for the Pacific Northwest bringing more rain. One moved in and the next one is shown on the way. Upper level HighPressure and surface low pressure combine to bring sunshine and dry us out. An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is controlling our weather for the foreseeable future. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the complex frontal system that moved through the Pacific Northwest bringing rain and then snow. The worst of the storm struck from Salem North through Portland. Next the temperatures fall behind the cold front. A record 1.14 inches of rain fell Sunday in Eugene. The graphic for days 3-7 shows another very active complex frontal system heading our way by late next week.
