_______________

An upper level low is sitting off the Oregon- Northern California coast. It will slowly migrate to the east, thus moving South of us and as a result will spin moisture northward toward us. A surface low will move Southeastward through California and then high pressure will try to take over. There will be a chance of precipitation for the next 7 days, but the chances will be quite low.

Sorry no one correctly answered my weekly weather quiz question. What is the difference between  freezing rain and sleet? Here is the correct answer. Freezing rain is rain that falls as water and then freezes to surfaces that are below freezing and sleet is made up of small irregularly shaped pieces of ice falling from the sky. I’ll have another Weather quiz question for you on Monday. The first person to post the correct answer will win one free week of personalized forecasts tailored to your needs.
