trough of low pressure is sliding to the East and weak high pressure will be try to take over before another low pressure trough slides down from the Gulf of Alaska. It looks like we’ll be seeing lots of clouds mixed with some sunshine, and slight chances of light rain or showers as a couple of little disturbances move through over the weekend, then a  frontal system will be approaching Oregon by the end of the weekend and early next week.

Upper level low pressure (“U” shape offshore coming out of the Gulf of Alaska)  is following behind another low that is moving away from us will be taking the slight chance of showers with it. A frontal system moved through Oregon spreading more clouds over the area and producing some showers, particularly in Eastern Oregon. Weak high pressure will be sandwiched between those lows. Look for more sunshine and warmer temperatures returning. There will be another weak frontal system pushing through Oregon, but this one should be dry for the most part and only lower the temperatures a bit. The drying trend will last through the weekend and into early next week.

Upper level low pressure (“U” shape offshore coming out of the Gulf of Alaska)  is following behind another low that is moving away from us will be controlling our weather for the next couple of days keeping clouds, cooler temperatures, and at least a slight chance of showers over the Pacific Northwest . There will be another frontal system (position shown on Thursday) pushing through Oregon but this one should be dry for the most part.
