An Upper level High (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is sending cold air down to us from Canada. A surface low adds just enough moisture for a touch of rain mixed with snow. The days 1-3 graphic shows the next surface low and frontal system that will move Southward through along the Pacific Coast by Wednesday. There will be some precipitation, but so far there shouldn’t be enough moisture to bring any more than just a light snow/rain mix for the South Willamette Valley.
