The high pressure ridge ( “Arch” shape) that gave us a beautiful is moving to the East and will be replaced by a low pressure trough (“U” shape offshore). A frontal system has moved through the Pacific Northwest spreading rain and cooler temperatures with it. The low pressure trough will bring in even more rain and cool temperatures tonight and Wednesday. After a break over the early part of the weekend another cold front should be just offshore next Sunday morning.
