The graphics for days 3-7   Tuesday through Saturday show a frontal system pushing into the Pacific Northwest between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Note: My apologies for missing the prediction for your Friday by a lot. We were expecting sunshine and temperatures near 72. Instead we had overcast skies and high temperatures near 60 degrees. I missed it by 11 degrees. A rather rare event for me, but Mother Nature changed her mind.

The graphics for days 3-7   Sunday through Thursday show a frontal system pushing into the Pacific Northwest Wednesday.

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge  (“Arch” shape) brings still plenty of sunshine but northerly airflow brings cooler temperatures.  The graphics for days 1-3 show a weak frontal system sliding through the Pacific Northwest bringing cooling.
